At only 5 mn walk from Isabella Resort you can find all the major services: a medical clinic, a hardware store, a drugstore, a brand new supermarket and a national bank, offering all major transactions such as bank transfers, advances on credit cards or cashing traveler's checks.

Playas del Coco has several lawyers, notaries and even Internet services.  You can make a stop at the bakery for a fresh pastry, or have your hair or nails done at the hairdresser or shop in the souvenir boutiques.  It is all available in Playas del Coco.

Restaurants are plentiful in Playas del Coco; you will enjoy the greatest and freshest fish and seafood you have ever experienced. You can choose from different cuisine, such as italian, mexican, american, louisiana, peruvian and costa rican typical food. For those who enjoy nighttime entertainment, Coco offers two casinos and a variety of bars, try a local favorite drink such as margarita or tequila sunrise.  You can dance at the discotheque on the beach, across from the park.

There are several tour operators and travel agents in town.  You can arrange for a day of sailing, fishing, scuba diving, sightseeing to national parks or several volcanoes in the area.  The locals are familiar with the best spots in town and the best sights to see out of town. They are extremely helpful; just ask anyone!
